Getting started with RobinIT
RobinIT helps you access company devices, connect to VPN networks, message teammates, share files, manage software, and complete approval workflows from one workspace. Most day-to-day actions happen in the RobinIT desktop app, especially VPN and remote desktop actions that need access to your computer.
Before you begin
- Install the RobinIT desktop app on the computer you use for work.
- Sign in with the work account connected to your company workspace.
- Complete two-factor authentication if prompted.
- Select the correct workspace if your account belongs to more than one company.
Desktop app and web app

Main areas in RobinIT

| Settings | Update profile details, password, two-factor methods, VPN proxy settings, app updates, and service status. |

First sign-in checklist
- Open RobinIT and sign in.
- If prompted, choose your workspace.
- Complete two-factor authentication.
- Open Devices and confirm your assigned devices appear.
- Open Connection and confirm your VPN connections appear.
- Open Settings and check your profile, password, two-factor methods, and app update status.
If something is missing
If you cannot see a device, VPN, file, app, admin page, or request, your account may not have access yet. Refresh the page first, then contact your administrator and include the item you expected to see.
Good security habits
- Do not share your password, one-time codes, passkeys, or recovery information.
- Lock your computer when you step away.
- Keep RobinIT updated from Settings > App Updates.
- Use support chat when you need help, and include the page name and action you were trying to complete.
