My Files
My Files is your RobinIT storage area. Use it to upload files, organize folders, download content, and share files or folders with other users in your workspace.
What you can do
| Action | How it works |

| Upload files | Choose Upload Files, then select one or more files from your computer. |
| Upload folders | Choose Upload Folders, then select a folder. If folder upload is not supported on your platform, upload the files inside the folder instead. |
| Create a folder | Choose New Folder, enter a folder name, and save it. |
| Download | Select one or more items, then choose Download. |
| Copy or move | Select items, choose Copy or Move, open the destination folder, then choose Paste. |
| Rename | Open an item's action menu and choose Rename. |
| Delete | Select an item and choose Delete. Confirm before the item is removed. |
| Share | Select an item, choose Share, then choose the users who should have access. |
| Unshare | Select shared items and choose Unshare to remove shared access. |
Upload by dragging files
You can drag files into My Files when file drop is enabled. For folders, make sure the folder contains files. Dropping only empty folders may not be supported.
Share files with other users
- Open My Files.
- Select the file or folder you want to share.
- Choose Share.
- Search for the users you want to share with.
- Confirm the share action.
Shared items may appear differently from private items. Review shared access regularly and remove access when it is no longer needed.
Storage is being initialized
New accounts may need a short setup period before personal storage is ready. If you see Storage is being initialized, wait a few minutes and refresh RobinIT. If it still does not load, contact support.
If files will not upload or download
- Check your internet connection.
- Try a smaller file or fewer files at once.
- Use clear file and folder names without unusual characters.
- Confirm that you are in a folder where uploads are allowed.
- Refresh the page if the file list appears out of date.
- Contact support with the file name, action, and any error message.
Good file practices
- Use descriptive folder names so shared content is easy to find.
- Do not store passwords, recovery codes, or secrets in shared folders.
- Share only with people who need access.
- Clean up old files and unused shares regularly.
